Michael Novotny, PhD(c)
Creative Care Coach & Wellness Practitioner
A picture is worth much more than a thousand words! My name is Michael Novotny, and I am a transdisciplinary professional artist, founder of Warrior Heart Gallery, and a U.S. Army veteran (1SG, Retired). I am deeply passionate about promoting regeneration and transformation through creativity. When I am not painting in my studio, I aspire to help others through their own transition and transformation process using skill-based and trauma-aware creative practices. I am available as a visionary coach, peer mentor, and nonprofit consultant. If you’d like to request a creative care workshop, group facilitation, or 1:1 coaching, please contact me using the link below.
As an artist, I intend for my work to be a vessel that carries stories of warriorhood, becoming, and the desire to connect with what lies beyond the human domain. My work integrates knowledge and practices rooted in spiritual traditions, science, philosophy, mythology, and depth psychology. Terrapsychology is one of the primary methodologies that influences much of my work as an artist and doctoral candidate. This discipline weaves between ecopsychology and depth psychology, expanding upon these fields in visionary ways. As an artist, terrapsychology helps me illuminate, animate, and honor ideas of interconnectedness while creating.
